The Restricted Collection: A Banned Book Night
Some books changed the world. Others sparked outrage.
Join us for an evening celebrating the stories that readers, parents, and organizations have tried to challenge, restrict, and remove from shelves over the years. Explore the history behind some of literature's most controversial titles while enjoying coffee, conversation, and a little literary rebellion.
Throughout the evening, guests can:
📚 Browse our Most Wanted Books display and discover the controversies behind famous literary titles.
🎯 Play Banned Book Bingo featuring challenged books, controversial authors, and literary history.
🚫 Test your knowledge in Why It Was Banned by matching famous books to the real complaints that landed them on banned and challenged book lists.
Plus, enjoy prizes throughout the evening and connect with fellow readers who believe great stories deserve to be read.
Free to attend. Come and go as you please.
